Chile apologises for LAN Perú video
The Chilean foreign minister, Ignacio Walker, was forced into a public apology following Peruvian outrage at a film shown on board the Peruvian affiliate of Chilean airline LAN which depicted Peru as a "pigsty", according to one Peruvian deputy. Flyers on board LAN Peru were shown a 30-minute video featuring an indigenous man urinating in a Lima street, mountains of rubbish and children begging.
